Border Radio doesn’t hold back its passion for eclectic acoustic Americana – they play it and write it and perform it with energy and reverence. They combine lead singer Kelly McCune’s Okie roots and torch vocals with the California country-tinged sound of her band, Mike Stromberg on dobro, guitar and resonator, John Lambdin on fiddle and mandolin, and Robert Staron on doghouse bass. It’s a big sound on old instruments that will have you up on your feet when you’re not cryin’ in your beer.
